Photo: Two Nigerian men arrested for fraud in Delhi, India

Two Nigerian men were arrested on Friday, September 30th by a joint team of Delhi and Goa Police for cheating several people after befriending them on social networking sites.

The suspects identified as Chukwuma Collins, 35, and Nicodemus Obinn, 27, used to befriend people on Facebook and then ask for money to send "necessary items" to their family members in UK.

The woman pictured carrying a child was nearly lynched by market women at Kano street in Onitsha, for physically abusing her housemaid in public. It was also gathered that she had stopped the victim from going to school. According to Martins Sammie, who posted the photos on Facebook:

Wedding is cancelled after bride is filmed passionately kissing stranger on her hen do (photos)

A wedding in Mexico was cancelled after the bride-to-be named Emma Alicia Paz Ayala was filmed passionately kissing a stranger during her hen do (bachelorette party). While drinking heavily at a pool bar at the resort where she held her hen do, Emma was filmed kissing the apparent stranger passionately while others cheer. It was shared on social media and soon spread. The groom-to-be Pablo Torres Gandara and his family viewed the clip and soon after, the wedding was cancelled.

Kano state government warns unpaid civil servants not to protest

In a statement signed by Mustapha Fagge, Public Relations Officer, Office of the Head of Service, Kano state, civil servants in the state who are yet to be paid have been warned not to stage protests.

Obama to meet with leaders of Iraq and Nigeria

            US President Barack Obama has scheduled meetings with the leaders of Iraq, Nigeria and Colombia and plans to promote trade between the U.S. and Africa as he continues his efforts to defeat the Islamic State group, the white house said Friday. Obama plans to sit down Monday with Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi to discuss progress the country has made countering the Islamic State group, a coming Iraqi military operation to take back the city of Mosul from IS militants, and a brewing humanitarian crisis inside Iraq, said Ben Rhodes, Obama's deputy national security adviser.

Judge rules Nick Gordon 'legally' responsible for Bobbi Kristina's death

A Fulton County judge on Friday, ruled that Nick Gordon is 'legally responsible' for Bobbi Kristina Brown's death.
According to NBC, Nick Gordon failed to appear for his court hearing again which prompted Judge T. Jackson Bedford's ruling. As a result of Gordon's second absence in court, the judge ruled that anything alleged in the wrongful death lawsuit by Brown's conservator would be admitted through omission.

Mel Gibson had 7 kids with his ex-wife, Robin and one with former partner, Oksana Grigorieva.

Rapper, The Game, took to his Instagram account to diss rapper, Meek Mill, calling him a snitch amongst other names. The Game's fans went on Meek Mill's IG account with emojis of rats, alluding that he is a snitch.
According to TMZ, the whole drama started when The Game accused Meek Mill of snitching because of the investigation into the robbery of Sean Kingston who was robbed at a nightclub in LA when attackers smashed a bottle of alcohol on his head and made away with his $300k chain off his neck.

Obama’s speech plagiarism: Presidency to punish speechwriter

President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday said the speechwriter responsible for plagiarising the United States President Barack Obama’s 2008 victory speech will face disciplinary action. The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, in a statement said that the similarities between certain paragraphs in Buhari and Obama’s speeches were too similar to be coincidental. 

The statement read in part, “President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered that prompt and appropriate disciplinary action be taken against those responsible for a wrongful insertion in his speech delivered on September 8, 2016 at the launch of the ‘Change Begins with Me’ campaign.
