Nigerian lecturer creates new code for football

A Nigerian lecturer, Boniface Opia, has created a new code for the sport of football.


Opia of the Delta State University announced the new football code in Lagos yesterday.


The new form of the sport known as the beautiful game will use the existing dimensions of a soccer field.
But the point of departure begins from having two referees and multiple scoring options.

There must be a winner at the end of a game.

The inventor explains the game which will be played for 120 minutes has enormous potential for development in Nigeria and on the international scene.
