Premier League champions Leicester City
signed teenage winger Bartosz Kapustka from Polish club Cracovia for a
reported £7.5 million on Wednesday in a title defence a league won last season.
Kapustka agreed a five-year contract
with Leicester after catching the eye of Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri with
his international performances for Poland over the last year.
The 19-year-old has linked up with his
new teammates in Stockholm ahead of Leicester’s International Champions
Cup friendly against Barcelona on Wednesday bartosz join other recruit

“Leicester City Football Club is
delighted to confirm the signing of Poland winger Bartosz Kapustka,
subject to FA, Premier League and international clearance,” read a
statement on Leicester’s website.
Kapustka made more than 60 appearances for Cracovia, with his impressive form leading to a debut for Poland in September 2015.
He was part of Poland’s Euro 2016 campaign and gave an outstanding display in their victory over Northern Ireland.
As Leicester gear up for their title
defence, Kapustka is Ranieri’s fifth signing of the transfer window
following the arrivals of Luis Hernandez, Ron-Robert Zieler, Nampalys
Mendy and Ahmed Musa.
